About the role

We are looking for AI Native Engineers who can build practical AI features that solve real operational problems for spas, salons, and beauty businesses. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to turn AI ideas into reliable product experiences inside WeSpa and GlowFox AI.

What you will do

• Design and implement AI-powered features such as smart insights, recommendation flows, automation assistants, and operational copilots
• Build integrations with LLM APIs, vector search, embeddings, retrieval workflows, and AI agent orchestration
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn business use cases into simple, useful AI product experiences
• Evaluate model output quality, latency, cost, reliability, and safety for production usage
• Create internal tools and workflows that help the WeSpa team work faster with AI
• Work with backend and data teams to connect AI features with customer, booking, revenue, and operational data

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience building AI products, LLM applications, RAG systems, agents, or automation workflows
• Strong backend or full-stack engineering foundation
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or similar modern engineering stacks
• Good understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, evaluation, and production AI constraints
• Strong ownership mindset and clear communication in a fast-moving startup environment

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks
• Experience with vector databases, search systems, or analytics pipelines
• Experience building SaaS products for SMBs
• Interest in beauty, wellness, retail, or service-business operations
